Good-to-Know Details

Safety & Supervision
  • Lifeguards on duty throughout the celebration

  • Adults must accompany little swimmers who aren’t independent in the water

Pool Rules
  • Swim caps required for swimmers with long hair (Swim caps available at reception for $12)
  • Only swimmers allowed on pool deck
  • No shoes on the pool deck
  • No glass containers inside the facility
  • No eating 2 hours before swim time

“I am so happy to have found this place! My 7-year-old has been in swimming lessons his whole life and has never passed a session. Traditional recreation centre lessons were not effective for him as he can be apprehensive to get in cold water and get his head/face wet and so he would often just sit beside the pool for a lot of the lesson and watch the other children learn to swim, which was frustrating. At Puddles, the instructors gently encourage him to get in the (warm!) water and slowly progress throughout the lesson. The facilities are beautiful and the staff are kind. While it is more expensive than traditional lessons through the city recreation programs, it is well worth the extra money for those who weren't seeing progress in those city recreation lessons.”
