9 Ways Puddles Swim School Makes Getting Ready for Class a Splash!

Getting ready for swim class should be fun, easy, and stress-free—and at Puddles Swim School, we’ve designed every part of your visit with kids and parents in mind. From our welcoming entrance to our colourful Kids Zone, here’s how we make your experience smooth and enjoyable.

Changing Room Rules – Puddles Says

Please take all your belongings with you and don’t leave items in the stalls to hold a spot. You’re welcome to store your items in the Dry Zone cubbies or keep them with you. We appreciate your consideration for others!

Showers

Rinse off with the showers before heading up to the pool area. We have 2 additional private showers for anyone who wants a little extra privacy before or after their swim. Showering before entering the pool helps keep the water clean and safe for everyone by removing dirt, sweat, and lotions. It also helps swimmers feel fresh and comfortable, while showering after swimming rinses off chlorine and other pool chemicals to protect your skin and hair.

Kids Zone – Creativity Comes to Life  

Our Kids Zone is a space that children absolutely love—so much that sometimes even parents don’t want to leave! With fun activities and creative play, kids can explore and imagine while waiting for their swim class.

Merchandise 

Need swim essentials? Our merchandise area has everything you need, including bathing suits, goggles, and hair caps, all ready for your next swim adventure.

Our Instructors and Front Desk Team are not just highly trained—they’re friendly, approachable, and ready to make every lesson a positive experience for you and your child.

Safety First

Safety is our top priority. All instructors are certified, decks are supervised, and rules are in place to protect everyone. Swimmers and parents must wear proper swimwear on deck; streetwear and non-pool shoes stay outside. Instructors lead all lessons, so parents/guardians should avoid side coaching to keep swimmers focused and safe.

Be sure to give your child’s name to our friendly Front Desk team before entering the dry zone for attendance.
